Is there money in banks?

Saw Obama's press conference today morning? You have to give the guy full marks for at least trying. Hearing him speak also hits you hard on the US economy. I could well visualise the poor and hungry masses, industrial wastelands, long food lines.... Scary..
On another note, have been tracking several banks across geography- SBI, Canara, Yes Bank in India, DB (DB), Citi (C) and Bank of America (BAC). All of them have some bounce back in last two weeks - from 2-5%. The surprise has been BAC which has jumped from less than $4 to touch almost $7 in 5 days. Something going on here. Not much in public domain but this one is not following the crowd. Time to cash in and buy again on next dip.
